Pelvic adhesions caused by the Asherman's syndrome or uterine synechiae can be removed with surgery. Afterwards, in order to prevent adhesions from growing back, the following measures should be taken:
- Estrogen supplements to help the uterus in the healing process
- Inserting an intrauterine balloon to prevent the walls of the uterus from adhering to one another
