One of the most common and frequent destinations for those who need to resort to a surrogacy process is Canada. In this country, the law allows all family models to have access to this process, that is, single women and men, homosexual couples and heterosexual couples.
A highlight of Canada is that this reproductive method needs to be an altruistic process. This means that the surrogate cannot receive financial compensation for her work in the process, although she will be reimbursed for the costs of the pregnancy.
