There are two laws that contain all the aspects to be taken into account regarding surrogacy in Greece: Law 3089/2002 and Law 3305/2005. In Greece, single women and heterosexual couples can opt for surrogacy, regardless of whether they are married or not. It should be stressed that the future mother must present a medical certificate proving the absence of full capacity to carry the pregnancy.
Greece is not one of the cheapest destinations for a surrogacy process and its cost is approximately between 70,000 and 80,000 euros. It must be taken into account that unforeseen events can always occur, which would increase this price.
