Clinical manifestations of a chemical pregnancy

Biochemical pregnancy, being an early pregnancy loss, usually does not cause any noticeable symptoms. However, some women report the following:

  • Abdominal pain similar to that of the period./li>
  • Bright red vaginal bleeding.
  • Blood clotting.
  • Back and lumbar pain.

In particular, bleeding after a chemical pregnancy can last differently for different women. This spotting can range from a few hours to a week.
