To date, it has not yet been possible to compile enough statistical cases regarding the use of a family member as a surrogate, since surrogacy is still an uncommon treatment at a global level which, moreover, is subject to more or less strict laws in each country.
One of the most famous cases is the one that happened in Texas (USA), because the future fathers used the mother of the intended mother, that is to say, the grandmother so that she could gestate her son, which resulted in a triplet pregnancy.
