Surrogacy in Denmark can be carried out in the traditional way, i.e. the law does not allow assisted reproduction techniques to be used to achieve pregnancy and, therefore, the surrogate mother must also be the egg donor.
Advertising to find surrogates in Denmark is also not allowed, nor is their economic remuneration for carrying the pregnancy to term.
