During egg donation treatment, a woman has to have ovarian stimulation done. For this purpose, she will inject herself with a series of hormonal drugs to produce multiple ovarian follicles at the same time. There are 3 types of hormonal drugs that are administered during the cycle: gonadotropins, GnRH analogues and finally hCG hormone.
