Infertility due to endometriosis

About 40% of women who are diagnosed with endometriosis experience issues trying to conceive. The main causes of female infertility due to the presence of endometrial implants in the ovaries and the Fallopian tubes.

In some cases, endometriosis can prevent ovulation and reduce the egg count, as it destroys healthy ovarian tissue. In other cases, implants can cause a blockage in the Fallopian tubes, which causes the sperm to be unable to meet the egg.
