What should I think of at my first surrogacy appointment?

my husband and I have scheduled an appointment in a surrogacy agency but we don’t know what we’ll be expecting. So any advice on this matter would be highly appreciated!! maybe someone could provide me with some things to ask at my first interview with our counselor?

I’d get myself definitely a budget with all included costs and also explained the hiring process for the surrogate mother and on which characteristics they hire. I’d also talk about worst case scenarios and the procedure for filiation if you’re from abroad!

I’d ask also for the possiblity of a psychological counseling. Things do not often go smoothly and emotional support is crucial when times get rough! And beware if they talk too enthusiastic! This process isn’t as easy as they want to sell you. It definitely takes its toll on owns emotional health!
