In an IVF process, the woman is stimulated with the aim of obtaining a high number of eggs and, with it, a greater number of embryos.
In this way, bearing in mind that between one and three embryos are usually transferred, there will be a certain number of embryos that will not be transferred. These are the remaining embryos.
These embryos are cryopreserved in nitrogen tanks at -196ºC for future transfers.
