Greece has been one of the latest countries that have included surrogacy as a legal fertility treatment in their legal framework regarding Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
Even though altruistic surrogacy was permitted for Greek citizens as early as in 2002, non-residents have the right to undertake surrogacy in Greece since July 2014.
