The seminogram or spermiogram is an analysis of a semen sample in which parameters related to the mobility, morphology and quantity of spermatozoa are studied to determine their quality and to intuit their potential for fertilization. In addition to a microscopic study, a macroscopic study is also carried out where aspects such as volume, viscosity and pH are evaluated.
Depending on the results obtained from the seminogram, other complementary tests may be necessary for the study of male fertility.
