In Vitro Fertilization Failures

There are IVF cycles that are not successful or must even be cancelled before the embryo transfer because of a failure in fertilization, that is, in the fusion of the egg with the spermatozoa.

In addition, implantation failure may also occur, which is the inability of the embryo to adhere to the endometrium after transfer. Since this event occurs inside a woman's uterus, it is difficult to find out the exact cause of the failure and how to address it.
