Female sterility is due to the fact that the egg cannot be fertilized by sperm and therefore pregnancy will not occur. Among the causes of female sterility are the following:
- Ovarian function abnormalities.
- Alterations in the fallopian tubes.
- Cervical factor due to cervical abnormalities.
- Uterine factor.
In any case, female sterility may appear due to a variety of causes, depending on which the symptoms in the woman will be more or less noticeable.
