There are several options when a male homosexual couple decides to have a biological child. One possibility is that one member of the couple gives up his gametes, that is, his sperm to fertilize a donor's eggs. Subsequently, the embryos generated after this fertilization in the laboratory will be transferred to the surrogate's uterus.
The surrogate will be in charge of carrying the pregnancy to term, so she must agree on the number of embryos to be transferred.
