In order to carry out a surrogacy process in Tabasco it is necessary to comply with the requirements established by the new law: the future parents must be a heterosexual couple of Mexican nationality, the woman must prove her inability to gestate and must be under 40 years of age. Also, the future parents must contract medical insurance for the surrogate mother and this must be approved by the Ministry of Health of Tabasco in order to be able to gestate the baby.
