The surrogacy debate

Surrogacy is an infertility treatment whereby many women, men, and couples can become parents in spite of not being able to by natural means.

However, it is a highly controversial procedure from an ethical viewpoint, as it expands the traditional concept of motherhood.

While some groups are in favor of surrogacy as a procreation method, others see it as a way of disguising the exploitation of women.
