Hyperemesis gravidarum refers to intense and persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It is very common in any woman who develops a multiple pregnancy. There is no specially related cause.
However, some risk factors for hyperemesis gravidarum are elevated hormone levels, placental mass, or psychological and social aspects.
