Pregnancy options with uterine abnormalities

In cases of uterine abnormalities, women may have to resort to assisted reproductive techniques such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to achieve a pregnancy. However, on other occasions, the patient could undergo a surgical intervention, either a hysteroscopy or a laparoscopy to solve the uterine problem.

As a last option for those cases of more serious uterine anomalies, such as agenesis, surrogacy will be necessary to become a mother.
