What is an arcuate uterus?

An arcuate uterus is considered a variation of the normal uterus with a small central septum. Some specialists consider that it is a subtype of septate uterus, though.

Its impact on female fertility depends on the extension, although it is rarely a barrier toward achieving an ongoing pregnancy.
