Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome or Müllerian agenesis means that the affected woman won't have a vagina either. For this reason, it is also known as vaginal agenesis. Women who suffer from MRKH syndrome do not have a vagina, uterus (womb), and Fallopian tubes. Some have a short vagina and a rudimentary uterus, though.
In short, women with MRKH syndrome cannot get pregnant in spite of having functional ovaries. The good news is that they can have biological children thanks to surrogacy.
