Surgical vaginal creation

McIndoe vaginoplasty is a technique used for the creation of a neovagina. It involves the following steps:

1. A split-thickness skin graft harvested from the patient's thigh.
2. The skin graft is placed into a synthetic mold and is inserted into the vaginal canal.
3. Within a few days, the synthetic mold is removed. The patient has use vaginal dilators for some time to cause the skin to stretch and the new vaginal canal to acquire the appropriate measures eventually.
