Müllerian agenesis or hypoplasia is the absence of Müllerian ducts, which causes the woman to be born without a womb or uterus. This anomaly is known as Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome. The Fallopian tubes, cervix and vagina are underdeveloped or absent, too.
