Artificial insemination is a low-complexity assisted reproductive technique in which a certain amount of semen is introduced into the woman's uterine cavity while waiting for the sperm to ascend through the fallopian tubes until they meet the egg and fertilize it.
Subsequently, the generated embryo will descend to the uterus, where it will implant in the endometrium and start the pregnancy.
