IVF surrogacy process step by step

Gestational surrogacy requires an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) process to be possible, since it involves the transfer of an embryo to the womb of the gestational carrier.

The first step is to stimulate the ovaries of the woman contributing the eggs, which will be retrieved through follicle puncture. Once collected, they are collected and fertilized in the laboratory. The resulting embryos are cultured up to the day when they are transferred to the womb of the GC.
